Omid Residence supports people with cancer and their companions, while volunteers create moments of happiness and hope during a difficult journey.
Cancer can draw people into an unfamiliar world, changing work, meals, accommodation and rest. Doctors, medicines, chemotherapy and radiotherapy enter their daily routines. Alongside treatment, patients and families need a place to breathe, stay, find calm and feel that they are not alone.
Omid Residence helps return part of everyday life: a place to stay, eat, rest, talk and even laugh. Volunteers play a precious role, using their pocket money and salaries to arrange celebrations that bring sweetness and hope amid pain and family anxiety.
At Omid Residence, we think about quality of life during treatment as well as treatment itself. The residence grew from the kindness of people who believe hope can be a warm room, a simple meal, friendly company and a reason to smile.
It is a story of companionship, helping patients and companions feel that life continues during difficult days. Omid means life.
