Internal Medicine Department

Omid Hospital’s Internal Medicine Department was among the departments that began operating in 1396 SH (2017–2018). Its specialists and subspecialists use modern diagnostic equipment to assess and treat patients. The department has 21 inpatient beds: 18 general beds, one VIP bed and two beds in isolation rooms. Services cover a range of conditions, including neurological, infectious and gastrointestinal diseases. Portable diagnostic facilities, including spirometry, echocardiography and imaging, support assessment and help reduce unnecessary patient transfers. Omid Hospital’s Internal Medicine Department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
