Radiology Department at Omid Hospital
The Radiology Department at Omid Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Center provides routine and emergency radiographic examinations 24 hours a day. Specialized radiographic examinations requiring the presence of a radiologist are performed according to a predetermined schedule.
Radiology services at the center are provided using digital equipment that meets the highest imaging quality standards of medical centers in West Azerbaijan Province and across Iran. One of the distinctive services offered by Omid Hospital is mobile radiography for critically ill hospitalized patients, performed using fully digital portable radiography equipment.
In addition to routine radiographic examinations, the Radiology Department at Omid Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Center provides specialized contrast-enhanced imaging services. These include examinations of the gastrointestinal system, such as barium swallow, upper gastrointestinal series (Upper GI), small bowel transit, and standard barium enema, as well as urinary system examinations, including intravenous pyelography (IVP), voiding cystourethrography (VCUG), retrograde urethrography (RUG), and pyelography. Other services, including fistulography, cholangiography, and similar procedures, are also provided to both outpatients and hospitalized patients.
Ultrasound Department at Omid Hospital
Using both stationary and portable equipment and benefiting from the expertise of experienced specialist physicians, this department provides a full range of ultrasound examinations and interventional procedures, including biopsy and other related services.
Ultrasound examinations at Omid Hospital are performed for outpatients and hospitalized patients using the advanced Samsung RS80A ultrasound system and specialized probes. A dedicated portable ultrasound system is also used to examine critically ill patients admitted to hospital wards.
