Note: Kidney stone surgeries at Omid Hospital are performed using the PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) technique. In this advanced procedure, the surgeon first makes a small incision in the skin and inserts a thin, flexible tube into the kidney. The stones are then broken into smaller pieces using specialized instruments, and the fragments are removed.

  • A pre-operative waiting area where patients remain after transfer from the ward until their surgery begins

  • A recovery room with 6 beds, where post-operative patients regain consciousness before being transferred back to the ward
  • A room for the storage of surgical instruments
  • A sterilization room equipped with surgical instrument sterilization equipment
