Now, with the establishment of Omid Hospital and the provision of services to patients, especially underprivileged cancer patients — a long-cherished and profoundly important aspiration of the organization’s leadership — the financial burden of operating and covering the diagnostic and treatment costs for needy patients remains one of the key challenges facing the Association. It is therefore necessary that a greater number of benefactors, through organized groups, support these patients. Accordingly, with the hospital’s opening, the Omid Association will require more financial support from the public and authorities so that it can be effectively promoted in the community by all of us, and active support groups — formed as social work nuclei by both individuals and legal entities (nearly 200 such nuclei) — can provide assistance to needy patients.
Just as the charitable people of our city and region, and the compassionate officials of our province and country, have wholeheartedly supported this people’s institution for over a quarter of a century, it is hoped that even more than before, by helping to cover the costs of healing suffering patients and bringing joy to their worried and distressed families, you will assist the Association’s board of directors in this God-pleasing endeavor. Those interested in participating in this benevolent cause are invited to visit the Public Donations Unit, complete the relevant form, and help needy patients along this difficult path.
Generous benefactors can, by completing the “Bimāryār” (Patient Supporter) form, support one or more patients or cover a portion of a patient’s expenses.
Thank you for your support.
