The first general consultation meeting of Omid's branches was hosted by the Maku Free Zone branch at the local governorate hall. Branch officials discussed overall activities and better coordination of their work.
Maku's governor and mayor attended and expressed support for Omid's charitable goals. With local officials' help, the Maku Free Zone branch intends to expand fundraising and treatment activities through initiatives including a treatment center and other construction projects.
