The United Nations has designated 5 December as International Volunteer Day. Omid Charity, founded through its founders' voluntary motivation, is among Iran's longstanding organizations making use of volunteer contributions.
Youth and women's volunteer groups have provided valuable services throughout the association's history. Recent changes have expanded their participation across many areas. Annual themes and events reaffirm the importance of volunteer action in addressing global problems and sustainable development, while inviting volunteers to reflect on their role and responsibilities.
Omid's voluntary board has consistently recognized these contributions and sought to organize and expand volunteer involvement. Volunteers now participate in many of its processes.
We congratulate all volunteers and invite anyone interested in joining to register at the offices in Urmia, Tehran, Khoy, Mahabad, Maku, Sardasht, Bukan or Miandoab. By strengthening public participation, social responsibility, compassion and cooperation among community organizations, we hope to spread vitality and hope.
The Volunteer Unit also plans a ceremony in the coming days honoring active volunteers of 1401, Solar Hijri. Invitations will follow. With thanks, Omid Public Relations.
