Omid welcomes 110 families to its Mehraneh support celebration

On 29 Shahrivar, ahead of the school year, Omid's social work unit held its Mehraneh celebration. The annual event supports patients with cancer who struggle to cover household essentials and their children's school supplies. Preparations began a month earlier with participation from different departments, especially volunteers, and donors covered every cost.

Welcoming participants, board chair Dr Javad Khoshabi described Omid as the beneficiaries' home and reaffirmed the community organization's continuing support for patients in need.

The program featured a drawing competition, magic, a Frisbee contest, comedy and live music. All performing groups participated without expecting payment. Providing patients and their families with hygiene packs, shoes, stationery and food was a principal purpose of the event.
