Administration and Finance
Administration and Finance supports the charity’s work through budgeting, accounts, billing, insurance, stores, legal services and records. Every part of this work is audited, and the charity answers to its benefactors to keep their trust.
Departments
The units listed below are named in the charity’s published organisational chart.
- Finance Director, Head of Accounting and accountants.
- Cash desk and settlement, discharge, insurance and revenue.
- Asset management and the warehouse, with its storekeeper and assistant.
- Administrative services: Human Resources, Secretariat, Legal Unit and Social Services.
- Community Fundraising, connecting benefactors with the charity’s services.
Oversight and transparency
Momayez Auditing Institute, led by Mr. Hossein Mohammadi, audits the charity’s finances and reports to the Board of Trustees. The ordinary annual General Assembly sets major policies, and every two years the trustees elect a seven-member Board of Directors under the charity’s statute.
How are resources used?
Resources pay for medicines and treatment — some of it free of charge — plus social services, patient accommodation and support, and the running of Omid Specialty and Super-Specialty Hospital at government tariffs. The details are in the charity’s published reports.
