Omid's fifth local branch opened on 2 Mordad 1401, Solar Hijri, in a ceremony attended by the people of Bukan at the 600-seat Simorgh hall. The city's Friday prayer leader emphasized the importance of helping patients in need and described the new branch and donor participation as a valuable local resource.
Chief executive Sirous Sadeghi said Bukan accounts for the largest number of out-of-town visitors to Omid's radiotherapy and chemotherapy clinic and residence. The new branch would help patients reach these services more easily. The ceremony also addressed patients' expenses and difficulties.
Branch director Dr Sheikhi highlighted Bukan's charitable potential and said local donors would support Omid's goals. With God's help and public cooperation, we hope the fifth local branch will bring assistance to people affected by cancer. Thank you for being with us. Omid Public Relations.
