Mohammad Koushan, who spent 30 years in Tejarat Bank's legal department, donated his home, valued at approximately ten billion tomans, to Omid's West Azerbaijan cancer charity. The donation was made under a lifetime arrangement without a right of revocation.
He made the gift on his eighty-second birthday, 30 Bahman 1403, Solar Hijri, to help fund treatment for patients in need at Omid Hospital. The board and chief executive visited his home and presented a commemorative certificate in gratitude.
With support from West Azerbaijan artists, Omid produces its 'Stories of Generosity' documentary series, recording the lives of donors who support patients and relieve suffering. It offers honest accounts of people joining a boundless sea of compassion. The film about Koushan is titled 'See Beauty to Become Beautiful'.
Omid believes that public trust and quietly generous hearts are the enduring foundation of every community organization, helping keep hope alive for people in pain.
