In a special ceremony attended by benefactors, volunteers, members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of Omid, Peyman Ghanizadeh was introduced as the new CEO of Omid Charity, and appreciation was expressed for the 8 years of service by Sirous Sadeghi, the former CEO of the charity.
According to Omid Public Relations; at this ceremony, held on Thursday, 23 Esfand 1404 (March 14, 2026) at the Abbas Khan Hatami Conference Hall of the Omid complex, while thanking Mr. Sirous Sadeghi, former CEO of Omid (2017–2025), Mr. Peyman Ghanizadeh was introduced as the new CEO of Omid Charity.
Chairman of the Board Emphasizes Expanding Medical and Support Services
Dr. Javad Khashabi described the selection of a young and specialized CEO in the field of social activities and civil society management as a sign of a new chapter in providing diagnostic and treatment services to needy patients and attracting even greater participation from benefactors in this worthy path.
Mr. Sirous Sadeghi, former CEO of Omid Charity, in his speech while presenting a report of his eight years of management, highlighted: drafting administrative and financial regulations, launching the “Yesra” system to complete the benefactor database, expanding Omid’s seven branches across the province, increasing patient and companion accommodation services fivefold at “Saraye Omid”, and doubling the provision of medical services to patients through the purchase of new radiotherapy devices as key accomplishments. He said: “Today, Omid Charity is recognized as one of the country’s prominent charities in cancer diagnosis and treatment. This achievement has been realized thanks to the trust and cooperation of esteemed benefactors and the dedicated efforts of Omid’s managers and staff.”
Mr. Peyman Ghanizadeh, the new CEO of Omid Charity, also expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Board of Directors, stating: “Today, I am honored to be in a position whose main capital is public trust and the unwavering support of philanthropists—those who, in the most difficult circumstances, with bright hearts and steadfast faith in the service of saving lives, have been our helpers.”
Ghanizadeh emphasized: “Omid Charity is more than just a service-providing institution in the health sector; it has become a symbol of social solidarity, mature participatory management, and the realization of ethical governance in the charitable field.” He considered the integration of valuable social capital and lofty human goals with modern management knowledge essential for charitable institutions, leading to sustainability and continuous improvement in the quality of services of such organizations. He continued: “With this approach, Omid Charity Association will be on the path to becoming a lasting and inspiring model at the national and international level, continuing to expand quantitatively and qualitatively the services to cancer patients, while being a symbol of honesty, justice, and altruism.”
Presentation of Appreciation Plaque and “Omid Ray” Statuette – Issuance of Appointment Decree
At the end of the ceremony, through the presentation of an appreciation plaque and the special “Omid Ray” statuette, gratitude was expressed for the commendable services of Mr. Sirous Sadeghi. Additionally, after reading the appointment decree, Mr. Peyman Ghanizadeh was officially appointed as the new CEO of Omid Charity.
