According to Omid Public Relations, in a meeting convened at the invitation of Engineer Tohid Moghaddasi, head of the Public Participation Unit of Omid Charity Association, held in the meeting hall of this complex, Mr. Engineer Saeed Mostafanejad, head of the West Azerbaijan Workers’ House, while thanking Omid Charity Association for its services at Omid Hospital, Clinic, and Residential Hostel, introduced the Workers’ House as the largest trade union organization in West Azerbaijan. He said: “Currently, 244,000 people are members of the provincial Workers’ House and benefit from the welfare, educational, cultural, and sports facilities of this organization.”

Mr. Mostafanejad listed low-interest facilities, access to hotels and guesthouses in pilgrimage cities and the capital, use of sports clubs with special discounts, access to consumer cooperatives for workers, and access to the employment unit as the most important benefits of membership in the West Azerbaijan Workers’ House.

He also announced readiness, through the membership of Omid Charity Association staff in the West Azerbaijan Workers’ House, to provide all in-service training needed by the personnel of this complex and other Workers’ House services under special conditions to the colleagues of Omid.

Mr. Sadeghi, CEO of Omid Charity in Urmia, while noting the free services of the radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and Omid residential hostel for cancer patients, considered providing health education in cancer prevention as one of the services that Omid Charity, in line with its mission, can offer to the members of the provincial Workers’ House.

At the end of the meeting, the CEO of Omid Charity, while thanking the cooperation of the West Azerbaijan Workers’ House in enrolling Omid staff as members of this organization, also discussed the proposal to draft a joint memorandum of cooperation between the two sides.

Mr. Sabokdast (responsible for training and first aid), Ms. Zolfaghari (training officer), and Ms. Farajou (responsible for members’ affairs of the Workers’ House) were also present at this meeting.
